Singapore opens Restart Clinics to help construction companies

Construction companies in Singapore that are making applications to restart construction activities can now can now get assistance from help centres set up by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). Two centres are now available at the BCA premises in Braddell and Jurong East.

Following the relaxation of COVID-19 movement restrictions, the Singapore government also gave the go-ahead for approximately 40,000 additional workers to restart work on small construction activities without their employers needing to apply for approvals. However, work with large numbers of staff still require approval from the BCA.
