Vlora Airport concession postponed (Albania)

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Albanian Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy has postponed the deadline to submit offers for potential investors for the Vlora Airport concession. The deadline has now moved to 21st April 2020.

This is the second time that the deadline for the Vlora concession has been postponed. The Minsitry changed the initial March 12th deadline to March 30th a few weeks ago.

The postponement is likely to cause delays in the evaluation processes for the construction of the airport, which are set to begin in May of this year.
